It all began with my mom.

Ever since I was born, she would read to me. Picture books of all sorts - baby books, silly stories, fun fables. Those soon turned to biographies of inspirational historical figures like Madam C.J. Walker and Albert Einstein.

I learned so much from them - and also realized that there was a deficit of appropriate books for kids. So many books nowadays bring politics (from both sides of the spectrum) and adult content into innocent kids’ books.

My goal for this page is to bring you age-appropriate picture books (and other fun things!) for your little ones. Parenting is hard enough without having to preview every single piece of media they touch. If I can make that even a smidge easier, then I’ve served my purpose <3

I hope you enjoy this page, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me! Feel free to follow me on Instagram, @bronteandwilder for updates and more recommendations!

Now, a bit about me!

I’m Charlotte, a homeschooled teenager with a passion for all things bookish!

You can usually find me reading, writing, painting with earbuds in, or organizing my ever-messy desk. (No matter what I try, there’s always piles of things on it. Crafting is chaotic!)

I absolutely love music of all kinds - if nobody is talking to me, I have my earbuds in, listening to one of my eclectic Spotify playlists.

I have a tabby cat named Pebbles, who pops up in my posts to say hello to her many fans. (She thinks she’s the center of attention)

I would live in a thrift store if I could - literally any one. There’s something magical about them that I can’t ever seem to put into words.

I’m working on writing a book (without a timeline for publishing yet) and I’m super excited to share it with all of you!

XO, Charlotte Cole
